This car is recommended for those of you who want a luxury car, comfortable and powerful. Reviewers have not commented extensively on the powertrain in the 2012 Audi A7. Since the car has yet to be released, only a select few have been able to put the A7 through its paces. What we can tell you is that all A7’s carry the same engine: a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that puts out 310 horsepower. The V6 is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and power goes to all four wheels, thanks to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. Audi says that the A7 can go from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds – acceleration that is on par with other luxury large cars.
The A7 should be released this spring, but since it’s not out yet, the EPA has not had the chance to estimate its fuel economy. One reviewer notes that a European-spec A7, which is fitted with a different transmission, gets around 29 mpg on the highway. When fuel economy averages from the EPA are available, we’ll bring them to you.
