The second new engine is 3.0 L V6 diesel engine at the heart of S 350BlueTEC. These engines deliver 258 PS power and peak torque of 620Nm. Combined fuel consumption reached 14.7 km / liter. Acceleration 0-100 km / h obtained within 7.1 seconds. The gasoline engine configured with 3.5 L V6 306PS and peak torque of370 Nm is behind the hood BlueEFFICIENCY Mercedes S 350. Fuel consumption of 13.1 km / liter.
One more, version 4.7 L V8, there is at S 500 BlueEFFICIENCY with 435PS power and 700 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption of 10.7 km / liter.
