Interesting Car New Chevrolet Impala

The 2012 Impala will receive a new 3.6-liter V6 next year, as well as a six-speed automatic transmission. “At 302 horsepower, the new V6 is rated at just one pony less than the short-lived Impala SS’ 303-horsepower 5.3-liter V8 used between 2006 and 2009,” writes Left Lane News. “The 2012 model’s direct-injected V6 also puts out an improved 252 lb-ft. of torque, which peaks at 5,300 rpm. The unit is also E85 FlexFuel capable.”

The 2011 Impala currently comes with a four-speed transmission and either a 3.5-liter, 211-horsepower V6 or a 3.9-liter V6 that makes 230 horsepower. But the extra power won’t mean choosing an optional engine in the 2012 model. GM Inside News reports, “All 2012 Impalas will have the new 3.6-liter V-6 and six-speed as standard fare.”
